#50: Questionable Dating History

Excuse us, but we’re dying to know who this woman dated that was interesting enough to mention in a job interview. We know it’s inappropriate to ask, but don’t tell us you aren’t curious. Was it just someone who worked with the company? Was it someone who worked for a rival company? Was it a celebrity?

Either way, we can sit here and wonder all we’d like, but that’s not an appropriate question to ask during a job interview. A candidate’s personal life should not come up during a job interview and in no way should affect the decision whether or not they are hired. We’re not sure how this story ends, but we can only assume she didn’t get the job.
