#46: Ladies Supporting Ladies
This Twitter user shared a positive interview story, and we’re here for it! This woman went in for an interview to be an assistant to a managing editor. She was disappointed because the woman interviewing her basically said she was over-qualified for the assistant role and would probably be bored. While she knew that was meant to be a compliment, it still kind of stung and she left the interview feeling defeated.

A surprise came about nine months later when she got a call from the company again offering her a higher position! Turns out the woman who interviewed her was a managing editor at the company. She had quit, but before she left she recommended this woman to take her place. Not only did this managing editor remember her, but she helped her out down the line by recommending her for a better job in the company. We love to see it.
