#41: Any Babies?

This woman shared an interview experience that got really personal, really fast. Before the interview even began, the woman interviewing her said she hoped she had babies. Why? Because she swore they’d be absolutely adorable. This is admittedly a strange way to start off an interview, and she probably asked the question for one of two reasons.

The first reason she asked that question was to maybe just be friendly and relatable. The second reason she may have asked was to phish for information. It seems like a weird, sneaky way to find out if someone has priorities more important than work (aka their kids). It’s definitely illegal to discriminate against women who have kids or may be getting pregnant in the near future, but this story goes to show it still happens in sneaky ways.
