#4: The Meaning of Life

This Twitter user was thrown for a loop during one of her very first interviews. She was sixteen and looking for her very first job. The woman interviewing her asked, completely straight-faced, to explain the meaning of life. The thing is, this girl was interviewing for a job… at a Hallmark store in the mall. 

This storyteller said she immediately laughed when the woman asked her this question. Why would a sixteen-year-old need to know what the meaning of life is in order to work at a Hallmark store? Her laugh quickly died when she realized this woman was being completely serious. Guess this lady took the importance of greeting cards really, really seriously.
