#38: Not Elliott
Having to interview a string of people one after another has to be hard for the interviewer. We only consider the interviewee’s side of the story, but the interviewer also has a lot of responsibility. After seeing so many people for one position, it makes sense that you’d get one name wrong. We’re only human.

That being said and as sympathetic as we’re trying to be, we also have to sympathize with this poor woman. We wonder if she ever corrected the interviewer (politely). It can be awkward to correct someone when they get your name wrong, but it’s even worse to have a conversation – let alone a job interview – with someone who gets your name wrong.
