#35: I Wouldn’t Be Expecting a Call

You can usually tell if an interview went well or poorly. You can tell if you’ve had the right answers, if you said what they wanted to hear, if you seemed confident but not too much. This person could tell they were fumbling it during the interview and tried to come out of it with a bit of grace.

After he fumbled a question, he couldn’t help but rumble on and on incoherently and couldn’t think of something smart to say. Eventually, he said “fully successful” completely out of nowhere. We’d like to hear this story from the point of view of the interviewer – that be a pretty funny story!
