#24: Don’t Judge a Book by its Cover

As children, adults would always tell us not to mark our bodies in any way because people won’t take us seriously if we do. And whilst there is definitely truth to this, we have also reached a point in society where people have become more responsible and open-minded, so you would think that people would be ok with this sort of thing…

But, apparently, we haven’t progressed that much as a society… Sure, it might have been 2008, but how this woman was treated is completely unacceptable. Not only did she go to the effort of covering up any potential markings, but she was also an appropriate candidate for the job.
