Too Much Control

This cult was less about spirituality and more about controlling every aspect of its members’ lives! These groups use strict rules and regulations to make their members feel like they’re part of a special group while also limiting their individuality and freedom. I mean, who doesn’t love a good “no beards allowed” policy, right? 

It’s like they’re saying, “Sure, you can have a soul, but only if it’s clean-shaven and doesn’t offend anyone!” But individuality and personal expression are important parts of being human. So let’s all raise a glass to beards, tattoos, and edgy t-shirts – and to the freedom to be ourselves, even if it means occasionally offending a cult leader or two!
