Scientology – the church of the stars! Well, actually, more like the church of the spaceship, according to their founder L. Ron Hubbard. Yes, you read that right – apparently, our souls were banished to Earth by a cruel alien overlord, and we can only escape by reaching an enlightened state through Scientology teachings.

And don’t even think about questioning the validity of any of this – the Church of Scientology has a reputation for being pretty litigious when it comes to criticism. So if you do decide to join up, just be prepared to sign over your life, your bank account, your house, and possibly your firstborn child to the church.
