The Day After

The fact that their own mother would choose to spend her last moments with the cult leader rather than her own child is both heartbreaking and disturbing. I can’t imagine how much that affected this child’s self-esteem and sense of worth. Thankfully, this person decided to take matters into their own hands and come up with their own survival plan.

And what’s more punk rock than skateboarding to safety in the face of a nuclear apocalypse? All jokes aside, it’s inspiring to see someone take control of their own fate and refuse to be a victim of circumstance. Whether it’s a natural disaster, a global pandemic, or a nuclear war, let’s not wait for someone else to save us!
