#42: Care For Your Grandma
We’ve talked about this already but it can’t hurt to say it again. Our obsession with lengthening life at any cost sometimes has detrimental effects – usually for the person whose life has been unnecessarily lengthened. I’m sorry for the candor here, but sometimes we really need to (quite literally) let them go.

Often, it’s very hard for us to remember that if we’re given the power to make decisions for someone else, we need to make decisions FOR THEM and not with ourselves in mind. Life-saving medicine is designed to prevent unnatural deaths, not prolong unnatural life. Once again, sorry for my candor.
