#33: A Fair Trade
I’m going to take the unpopular opinion here because I know that someone has to. It sucks that hospitals are understaffed. It really does. It sucks that they can’t provide the services that they really should, but – I’d much rather they cut from cleaners than from doctors or other members of the medical team.

It’s difficult to face, but the reality of the matter is that hospitals are just such important institutions that every single doctor, nurse, or technician is critical. So even if it may seem like having fewer cleaners is a disaster (it is), having fewer people who can actually administer medical care would surely be worse.
