#22: Maximising Profits

Well, there it is, the admission we’d all been waiting for, clear as day. “Unfortunately, everything is about making a profit, but we try to minimize that when we can.” So perfectly phrased it could be the hospital slogan. They could hang it up above the entrance doors for patients to see as they walk in.

It really is so upsetting that money makes the world go round, even in fields like medicine, which are supposed to exist only to help people. At least there are good people trying to help out where they can, but unfortunately, it’s not enough to change the whole system. So thanks for not much.
