#38: ReRuns Helped the Show Stay Relevant
Despite its relatively low ratings during its original run, Married… with Children became a powerhouse in syndication. The show thrived in reruns, reaching a much wider audience and solidifying its status as a cult classic.

In the early seasons, Fox wasn’t available nationwide, meaning many viewers never saw the show’s original broadcasts. When it hit syndication, these “reruns” were actually brand-new episodes to many fans, helping Married… with Children build a massive following throughout the 1990s.
