#36: Kelly’s Connection With Garfield

Kelly Bundy wasn’t exactly known for her love of reading throughout Married… with Children, given her, well… less-than-stellar intelligence. However, in the early seasons, she was often spotted attempting to read Garfield comics.

Perhaps the producers thought the sarcastic, misanthropic feline was a fitting match for the show’s cynical, no-luck world. After all, Married… with Children and Garfield shared a similar outlook—both featured characters who loathed Mondays, hated work, and thrived on snark.
