#24: This Wouldn’t Pass Today

There are plenty of things from Married… with Children that likely wouldn’t fly if the show were made today—one of the most obvious being Al Bundy’s infamous all-men’s group, No Ma’am. As you might have guessed, the club’s full name was anything but subtle.

Officially, No Ma’am stood for the “National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood.” Founded by Al and his pals, it was their way of pushing back against what they saw as feminist domination. But imagine how different things could have been if the actor originally intended to play Al had gotten the role.
