The couple, who initially met on the set of Correlli in 1995, tied the knot in 1996 and later adopted two children. 

They announced their separation in a joint statement, mentioning that their journey was shifting, and they had decided to split to pursue their individual growth. They expressed gratitude, love, and kindness and requested privacy during this transition. This separation marks the end of an enduring Hollywood marriage.
