46. Taco Viva
Taco Viva served up Mexican-style fast food, from messy burritos to crunchy tacos. While the menu was very similar to today’s Taco Bell, its food was considered considerably more authentic. There were 85 locations across 11 different states at the peak of the restaurant’s success.

While all of the locations have closed, there is still a solid and loyal fanbase to this day. There are articles and conversations online reminiscing about the delicious food and nostalgic atmosphere the restaurant offers.
