Bad Food

The average person has access to all types of foods at all times. All they need to do is visit their grocery store or their preferred restaurant to indulge in their favorite cuisine. When you are in prison, that free food choice disappears, along with nearly every other freedom you once held.

In prison, you not only have no choice over the food you eat, but chances are that the food they do serve is not of the highest quality. That unchanging and potentially bland prison food leaves a bad taste in the mouth of most prisoners. Next time you’re complaining about a meal, be thankful that you at least have some choice in what food enters your mouth.
