For new arrivals, adjusting to the incarcerated life can be a real challenge. But while that is understandable, what many people neglect to mention is that exiting prison and reentering the real world can be just as much of a shock. During a prison sentence, your life will be incredibly structured, so much so that you know what will happen during almost every hour of the day. By contrast, normal life can be unpredictable.
