Uniform Farts

Variety is the spice of life, as the saying goes. But when you’re in prison, you’ll find that your life has suddenly become very lacking in variety. That monotony can wear on you in many ways, some of which are less expected than others.

Certainly, this inmate did not enter prison expecting to develop a deeper opinion on fart smells, but that is what happened. After everyone eats the same food, naturally, their gas begins to smell the same as well. After enough time, a uniquely scented fart can be more of a reminder of the outside world than you would guess.
