#41: Mind Blown

Okay, this is one I have heard all my life, and I’m not completely convinced that it’s not just a silly joke or old wives’ tale. First, I’m sure there are kids who think it will be fun to throw their shoes over a telephone wire. Heck, I have been tempted to do it before just to see if I can.

Second, if this secret symbol is so well known that I, an 8-year-old in a super safe neighborhood, was aware of it, surely the cops are aware of this sneaky trick as well. And why would drug dealers so openly advertise their presence to the police? Something doesn’t seem right here.
