#4: No Kids Allowed
The thing about kids is that many of them will believe pretty much anything an adult says. And why not? They’re still figuring out how the world works, so if an adult they trust tells them something, they will work that into their worldview. They’re so trusting, which is a trait I wish more adults had.

So if you think about it, being an adult around children is a pretty big responsibility; you don’t want to mess up your child, nephew, neighbor, or piano student too badly. Still, this is hilarious. I love that the writer noticed kids were allowed in restaurants, but instead of assuming he’d been lied to, he assumed that there had been a universal rule change.
