#28: Eat Fresh
Wait, is this common knowledge? Is this a thing that everybody knows except me? Because I have never heard this before in my life. I mean, in retrospect, it makes sense; you want something to cover up the soft squishy bits on the bread’s interior. But it never occurred to me to use the ends of the loaf for that purpose.

But then, as we established in an earlier post, most of my life, anytime we got a loaf of bread, it was eaten 40 minutes after my mom got through the grocery store and we never had the chance for it to get stale. And now that I live alone, I don’t buy whole loaves of bread because I’ll never be able to eat them in time.
