#24: Perfect Penmanship
Cursive is a dying art, and I think that is a crying shame. There’s something beautiful about neatly written cursive, especially when looking at old documents. It is beautiful in a way that print simply can’t aspire to. It’s also often faster than writing in print, which is why I always use cursive.

Sadly, it is slowly becoming less common. I have a friend who’s an elementary school teacher who makes her kids learn cursive in the 3rd grade, and I think all teachers should take that stance. After all, who knows when they’re going to need to look at an old, handwritten document? It’s a good skill to have.
