#14: My Little Pony

Here is yet another one of which I am guilty! I am actually feeling really good about myself right now, because it turns out that I wasn’t stupid as a kid, I just made a lot of the same mistakes that everyone else did. Or maybe everyone was stupid. Either way, I feel better.

I, too, thought that a pony was a juvenile horse. I just assumed it was a cute term for a baby horse, like a puppy is a baby dog or a kitty is a baby cat. I don’t think it was until college that I learned that they are actually their own sort of thing. And to be honest, I still couldn’t tell you what makes a pony different from a horse.
