#13: Follow Your Nose

I’m pretty proud of myself for getting so far through this list before running into one that I wasn’t aware of. I’m pretty sure that until I read this, I also just assumed that fruit loops have different flavors. Did you ever realize this growing up?

After all, why make them different colors if they are not going to be different flavors? I figured that surely each color corresponded to a specific type of fruit. And I assumed that I couldn’t distinguish the fruit flavors because they had done a bad job of it. I’m not going to lie; I’m a little embarrassed now. I also feel kind of cheated by fruit loops.
