You have to be careful what you send to your client, especially if you’ve messed up and continue to use faulty equipment, resulting in radiation burns! They admitted they knew it was an issue beforehand. Why they even thought they could take it to court is beyond me.

I bet it would have cost them less to replace the machine than pay for the injury it caused. I especially like how they noted, in writing, they couldn’t ignore it, then followed up with the equivalent of “but we’re going to have to because we have no other choice.” Hopefully, this was a lesson for other offices as well!
