#36: A Fresh Perspective on Life

I’d have felt like a total jerk complaining about a lawyer being late when they’d actually died. It’s obvious they didn’t know, and we can’t really control our thoughts about other people, especially when we don’t know the full story, but I still would have felt bad about it. That two-hour drive seems like nothing in comparison.

Whatever the case was about, I’m glad they got it all worked out and rescheduled. Hopefully, this lawyer never again judged someone for being a no-show without all the facts. As for the opposing team, they had their work cut out for them since they had to start from scratch!
