#23: Courthouse Cinderella

Some people may find this story funny, but if you ask me, this was a major power move on his part! It took this lawyer about ten seconds to assess the situation and realize there was nothing he could do about his missing shoe, and there was no way he could retrieve it on time, so he put his best foot forward and went on with his day, unaffected.

He didn’t let this small mishap ruin his day or his mood, and I can only assume he went to court feeling proud and confident, even while wearing only one shoe. I wish I has this person’s confidence, but I guess it takes a good amount of confidence to become a lawyer in the first place, so this story makes sense to me on some level.
