#21: Maybe They’re Better Off Without Him

This client really messed up. You don’t get stoned and then show up for court, fall asleep during a custody battle, slam your ex, and think anything will go your way. She tested clean and obviously wanted the kids, at least enough to show up sober and stay awake.

I’m not surprised the lawyer was happy to be done with this case. How frustrating it must have been to deal with someone who slings accusations and then turns around and does the exact thing they’re accusing someone else of doing. I wonder if the lawyer changed legal tracts after this. I know I would!
