Break Up

Zagat conducted a survey which found that over 50% of diners said they have witnessed a breakup or argument at a restaurant. It’s not just limited to romantic relationships; even business meetings and family dinners can quickly turn into a battlefield of emotions. Customer complaints are more likely to happen during a family meal than at any other time. 

I feel sorry for the waitstaff – they’re the ultimate third wheel in this awkward situation, trying to pretend they’re not listening while also trying to make sure they don’t spill hot soup on anyone’s lap. If you see a couple arguing or a family feud, remember – at least it’s not your table.
