#4: The First Muse, Mary Werbelow
Jim Morrison’s childhood was transient due to his father’s military career, leading him to live with his grandparents in Florida and attend local colleges. He met Mary Werbelow, his muse for the first three Doors albums, marking the beginning of his artistic journey.

Despite his bookish demeanor, Morrison was also a rebellious spirit. A drunken stunt at a 1963 football game—taunting the crowd and stealing a police helmet—resulted in his arrest, hinting at his future challenges with alcohol.
