#22: The Last Performance as The Doors
By the time The Doors were working on ‘L.A. Woman,’ Morrison had drastically changed. He became unrecognizable at his last show in December 1970, struggling with lyrics and relying on the microphone stand for support during his performance.

During his final appearance, Morrison’s impromptu exit followed a nudge from drummer Densmore. The incident led to the band’s decision against future live performances. Morrison’s subsequent move to Paris marked the definitive close of an era for The Doors.
