#17: The Release of Their Third Album
In 1968, The Doors released ‘Waiting for the Sun,’ marking their third album. It not only featured the chart-topping ‘Hello, I Love You’ but also introduced ‘Love Street’ and the anti-war anthem ‘The Unknown Soldier’, making a successful debut in the UK charts and revealing Jim Morrison’s alter ego in ‘Celebration of the Lizard’.

The Doors made music history on July 5th with their iconic Hollywood Bowl performance. By September, they were electrifying London’s Roundhouse in their European debut, sharing the stage with Jefferson Airplane, forever changing the psychedelic rock landscape.
