#46: Bats Purr, Too

Ah, learning about the many animals of the universe never gets old. We’ve discussed the differences between birds and spiders above. Now, let’s move into cute territory and talk about bats. While people don’t normally think of petting and cuddling with bats, I’m sure this random fact will cause you to think differently! Apparently, people also keep them as pets.

According to this Reddit user, bats can purr, similar to cats, when they are petted. This. Is. Adorable. Now, I’m not necessarily someone who actively thinks about owning a pet bat and then petting it. But now that I’ve learned this fact, I can at least say I’ve thought about it once!
