Alan Turing, the brilliant British mathematician and codebreaker, experienced a cruel and tragic fate after World War II. In a time when homosexuality was criminalized, Turing was subjected to heart-wrenching persecution.

He faced a choice between imprisonment or hormonal treatment to “cure” his homosexuality, opting for the latter, which brought devastating physical and emotional consequences. His security clearance was revoked, and he was ostracized from the very society he had helped safeguard. Years after he passed, he was rightfully given the many accolades he deserved.
