Frail Old Pumpkin

It always feels a little funny going to all the effort to carve a pumpkin knowing you’re going to have to throw it away in at least a week’s time. At the end of the day pumpkin are a vegetable and vegetables perish, because that is just what they do.

But this old mini pumpkin is proof that you can maybe even keep the pumpkins you spend so much time carving and dry them out for the years to come. Because this little pumpkin still looks scary but this time it has the added effect of being an old man.
