#63: House Fire
House fires are more common than you might think! Apparently, there are over 350,000 house fires in the U.S. each year. Supposedly, cooking is the number one cause! That’s right; people seem so focused on perfecting their souffle that they forget the burning pot of oil on the stove.

But hey, at least they’re living on the edge, right? And apparently, the most common time for house fires is between 6pm and midnight, which means that statistically speaking, you’re more likely to burn down your house while watching Netflix than while you’re asleep. Perhaps you should invest in a fire extinguisher to keep safe.
