With all these beliefs in past lives, what does science have to say about the whole thing? Well, it’s a little bit complicated. Some people believe that past life memories are actually just memories from their ancestors, like some genetic hand-me-downs. Other people believe that past lives are just a glitch in the matrix.

It’s like when you accidentally hit “reply all” on a work email and regret it immediately. But hey, who knows? Maybe I was a world-renowned scientist who had all the answers in my past life. Or maybe I was just a cat who liked to knock things off tables. Either way, it’s fun to imagine.
