#55: Mysterious Marriage

The average age of first marriage in the U.S. is now 28 for women and 30 for men, which is like being an elderly couple in the eyes of our grandparents! And get this, over 40% of marriages end in divorce. That’s much higher than I thought it would be!

But the real kicker is that more and more people are choosing not to get married at all. In fact, in 2020, over 20% of adults in the U.S. lived alone or with an unmarried partner. Whether you’re happily married, happily single, or just plain confused, remember that love comes in all shapes and sizes.
