#4: The Great Depression

The Great Depression was a dark period in American history that lasted from 1929 to 1939 and affected millions. During this time, the unemployment rate skyrocketed to a staggering 24.9%, and many families were left without a source of income. It was a rough time, but it’s also a testament to our spirit. 

And, in the end, the country emerged stronger and more united. It’s important to reflect on the lessons of the Great Depression and to remember those who struggled during that difficult time. And, who knows, maybe we can find a funny story to lighten the mood. After all, laughter is the best medicine!
