#25: Air Raids
During World War II, the Allied forces dropped a total of 1.5 million tons of bombs on Germany, almost the equivalent of dropping a small country on top of another. And get this; over 410,000 German civilians were killed due to these bombings, with the majority of them civilians.

Despite the destruction, the German war effort was not significantly hindered by the bombing campaigns. They’re one resilient country! It took multiple other Allied efforts to finally end the war. So, let’s take a moment to appreciate the brave men and women who risked their lives during these air raids and remember the human toll of war.
