#22: 100 Years Ago
Oh boy, life was a whole different ball game 100 years ago! Did you know that in 1923, the average life expectancy was only 54 years? That’s like being considered a senior citizen by today’s standards. And get this; there were no smartphones, internet, or Netflix. That’s just plain torture!

People had to read books and have conversations with each other for entertainment. Plus, women couldn’t even vote in the U.S. until 1920. And let’s not forget that many people still consider indoor plumbing a luxury. So, if you think your life is tough now, remember that it was even worse a century ago!
