Vic Damone and Pier Angeli

In 1954, singer Vic Damone and Italian actress Pier Angeli tied the knot in a lavish Hollywood wedding. The couple went on a honeymoon to Hawaii, where they were greeted with leis and warm tropical breezes. However, their honeymoon took an unexpected turn when Pier discovered that Vic had packed more tuxedos than swim trunks.

Determined to make the most of their trip, they went shopping for new swimwear, only to find that all the stores were sold out. Desperate for a solution, Vic ended up wearing a pair of Pier’s pink floral shorts, much to the amusement of the locals.
