#8: Saruman (The Lord of the Rings)

Saruman the White is an ominous villain in the movie world. A once-respected wizard in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, becomes a malevolent figure due to his lust for power. Originally, Saruman was among the wisest and most revered of the Istari, sent to Middle-earth to guide and protect its people. However, his insatiable desire for the One Ring and his envy of Gandalf’s position led him down a dark path.

His transformation into Saruman the Many-Colored is marked by his unnatural and unsettling appearance. His piercing, cold eyes and his unnaturally long, spindly fingers, as well as the twisted and decaying trees surrounding his tower of Isengard, paint a chilling picture of a once noble wizard consumed by ambition and corruption.
