#40: “I like to remember things my own way.”
What do you get when you mix Bill Pullman and Patricia Arquette in a movie written and directed by David Lynch? The Lost Highway! This 1997 film is as bizarre as they come but has won five awards and was nominated for an additional seven. Critics say it’s “a cult movie to be loved or hated, nothing in between.”

What I find most interesting is the change in the facade of this building. It looks like a portion of the wall was taken out and reconstructed, but without reason. Most of the film was shot in Los Angeles, with portions of on-location in Death Valley. If you watch the movie, don’t expect to make sense of it. It’s a wild ride.
