#31: “Forget the cat, you hemorrhoid! Get the gun!”
Apparently, Stephen King is quite popular, as he wrote this 1985 screenplay for Cat’s Eye on top of dozens of books and short stories. It stars Drew Barrymore (who was also in Firestarter the year before) as a little girl. The entire film was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. The building you see is Saint Stephen’s School for the Exceptional.

While Stephen King has written over 64 novels (including those under pen names and collaborations), he’s only written 23 films. His pen name is Richard Bachman, so be on the lookout for any by that author! Other well-known films he’s written include Creepshow, Silver Bullet, and Pet Sematary (that’s right, he adapted his own books for the big screen!).
