#22: “Life is like a box of chocolates”
Tom Hanks pulled off a phenomenal performance in Forrest Gump (1994), making it one of the top films of all time. Still, he wasn’t paid for his part. Instead, he opted into percentages of the gross, bringing in over $40 million for this role. To put that in perspective, Keanu Reeves only made $30 million for all Matrix films combined.

The location of this shot is the USC David X Marks Hall, located in Los Angeles. Much of the film was shot nearby, but some scenes took place in St. Varnville and Yemassee, South Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia. A few were even shot in Utah and Arizona. This film really did span the US! Washington D.C. even makes an appearance!
