#12: “Phone home!”
Slap a little paint on it and grow some trees, and this house is nearly unrecognizable as the Taylor home from E.T. It’s located at 7121 Lonzo Street in Tujunga, California. The house was brand new, built the same year filming began in 1980. Due to its fame, this house is estimated to be worth over $1.2 million, nearly 50% more than other houses nearby.

A fun tidbit: E.T. was a puppet manned by a 2’10” tall stuntman, except for the kitchen scene. For that one, a young boy who could walk on his hands did the tricks. As for budgets, this movie had over $10 million to work with and brought in $11 million on opening weekend alone!
